  • 1 pound baby broccoli trimmed and cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Start by washing the baby broccoli under cold water to remove dirt.
  2. Trim the ends of the broccoli to remove any dry or tough parts.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  4. Add the minced garlic to the hot oil and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Carefully add the baby broccoli into the skillet, stirring to coat with oil and garlic.
  6. Cook for 5–7 minutes until the broccoli turns bright green and is just tender.
  7. Remove from heat, then drizzle 1 tablespoon lemon juice over the broccoli and stir to combine.
  8. Transfer the sautéed broccoli to a serving dish and serve immediately while warm.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top just before serving! Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
