  • 4 Branzino fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 lemon zested and juiced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • Fresh herbs such as parsley or thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Cherry tomatoes

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the Branzino fillets under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  3. Rub both sides of the fillets with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  4. Sprinkle minced garlic and lemon zest over the fillets.
  5. Place the fillets in an oven-safe skillet skin side down ensuring they fit comfortably without overlapping.
  6. Scatter lemon slices and optional cherry tomatoes around the fillets.
  7. Roast in the oven for 15–20 minutes until the fish flakes easily.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh herbs, and serve hot.
