  • 6 bone-in chicken thighs
  • 1 packet onion soup mix
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Grease the baking dish lightly with cooking spray or oil.
  3. Arrange the chicken thighs in a single layer in the baking dish.
  4. In a medium bowl, mix the onion soup mix, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, and Worcestershire sauce to create the sauce.
  5. Pour the sauce evenly over the chicken.
  6. Season with salt and pepper.
  7. Cover the dish tightly with foil.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 4 hours (240 minutes). During baking, do not open the foil.
  9. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken overnight in the sauce mixture. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes, or vegetables.
