- In a mixing bowl, combine pork ribs and buttermilk and marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- In a separate bowl, mix all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to season the coating.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove each rib from the buttermilk and dredge fully in the seasoned flour.
- Carefully place a few coated ribs at a time into the hot oil to avoid overcrowding.
- Fry the ribs for 5-7 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Remove the ribs with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels to remove excess oil.
- Let the ribs rest briefly, then serve hot with optional dipping sauces on the side.
