Ingredients

  • 2 ounces gin
  • 4 ounces orange juice freshly squeezed is best
  • 1 ounce grenadine
  • Ice cubes
  • Orange slice for garnish optional

  • Shaker (optional)
  • Stirring spoon
  • Glassware (highball or any preferred glasses)

Method
 

  1. Measure out 2 ounces of gin using a jigger or shot glass.
  2. Pour in 4 ounces of freshly squeezed orange juice into your glass or shaker.
  3. Add 1 ounce of grenadine to the mixture for sweetness.
  4. Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  5. Stir gently with a stirring spoon to blend the ingredients thoroughly.
  6. Optional: Garnish with an orange slice on the rim.
  7. Pour the mixture into highball glasses filled with ice and serve immediately.

Notes

Use freshly squeezed juice for the best flavor. Adjust the grenadine to taste for sweetness. Garnish can be added for presentation.
