Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, gluten-free breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, pepper, and parsley, mixing gently until just combined.
  4. Form the mixture into meatballs about 1.5 inches in diameter using your hands.
  5. Place the meatballs on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 1 inch apart.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown and an internal temperature of 160°F (70°C) is reached.
  7. Remove the meatballs from the oven and let them cool slightly before serving or storing.
  8. Serve the meatballs with your favorite sauce over pasta, in subs, or enjoy as an appetizer.

Notes

Don’t overmix the meatball mixture to keep them tender.
