Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 cup fresh parsley washed and chopped
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro washed and chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 medium onion roughly chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic peeled
  • 1 medium bell pepper chopped
  • 1-2 fresh scotch bonnet peppers seeds removed
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup olive oil or enough to cover

  • Food processor or blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Screw-top jar for storage

Method
 

  1. Gather all ingredients and measure them out for a smooth blending process.
  2. Wash and chop the parsley, cilantro, and thyme leaves for freshness.
  3. Roughly chop the onion, bell pepper, and garlic into smaller pieces for easier blending.
  4. Remove seeds from the scotch bonnet peppers to control the heat level.
  5. Place all herbs, vegetables, spices, and olive oil into the food processor or blender.
  6. Blend until a smooth paste forms, scraping down the sides as needed.
  7. Taste the seasoning and adjust salt or pepper to your preference.
  8. Transfer the green seasoning to a jar and pour a thin layer of olive oil on top to preserve freshness.

Notes

Store in an airtight jar with a layer of oil on top to maintain freshness and flavor.
