Main
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup dill pickles finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon pickle juice from the jar
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Measuring cups and spoons
  • Spatula
  • Refrigerator-safe container

Method

  1. Gather all ingredients and ensure the cream cheese is softened and pickles are chopped.
  2. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes until softened.
  3. Finely chop 1 cup of dill pickles so they integrate smoothly into the dip.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and 1/4 cup sour cream until smooth.
  5. Stir in 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard and 1 tablespoon pickle juice until well blended.
  6. Add 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon onion powder, and salt and pepper to taste, mixing thoroughly.
  7. Gently fold the chopped pickles into the creamy mixture until evenly distributed.
  8. Transfer the dip to a refrigerator-safe container and chill for at least 1 hour before serving.

Notes

For best flavor, chill the dip overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
