- Preheat the oven to 450°F (232°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 tablespoon baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
- Cut in 1/4 cup cold, cubed unsalted butter using a pastry cutter or your fingertips until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Pour in 3/4 cup milk and stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface, gently knead a few times, and roll out to 1-inch thickness.
- Use a biscuit cutter or glass to cut out 8 biscuits and place them about 1 inch apart on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown.
