Method
- Combine warm milk, pineapple juice, and granulated sugar in a mixing bowl and let sit for 5 minutes until frothy to activate the yeast.
- Whisk together 3 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, active dry yeast, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add the eggs and melted butter to the yeast mixture, then gradually mix in the dry flour mixture until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- Punch down the risen dough, divide it into 12 equal pieces, and shape each into a ball.
- Place the shaped rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and let them rise for 30 minutes until puffy.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake the rolls for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Brush the tops with melted butter immediately after baking.
Notes
Serve the rolls warm, optionally brushed with additional melted butter for extra shine and flavor.
