  • 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a loaf pan or line it with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 lb ground beef, 1 packet Lipton onion soup mix, 1 egg, 1/2 cup milk, 1 cup breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup ketchup, and 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce; mix until well incorporated.
  4. Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste and gently mix to combine.
  5. Transfer the mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape into an even loaf.
  6. If desired, spread an additional layer of ketchup on top of the loaf for a glaze.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  8. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
