  1. Ensure the unsalted butter is softened at room temperature to blend smoothly, about 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and pure maple syrup.
  3. Using a hand mixer or whisk, beat the mixture until fully combined and fluffy, about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Taste the maple butter and add more maple syrup if desired for increased sweetness.
  5. Transfer the maple butter into an airtight storage container.
  6. Refrigerate to firm up slightly, about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
  7. Serve on pancakes, toast, muffins, or roasted vegetables immediately or after refrigeration.
  8. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
