  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 cup crushed crackers
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crushed crackers, chopped onion, milk, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper; mix until evenly combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a meatloaf pan or shape it into a loaf in a baking dish.
  4. Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until the meatloaf is cooked through.
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Slice the meatloaf into 6 portions.
  8. Serve the meatloaf warm with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes or steamed vegetables.
