- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Line a 12-cup muffin tin with parchment paper liners or grease the cups with butter.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Alternately add the flour mixture and the milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with the flour mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Gently fold in the fresh blueberries with a spatula to avoid crushing them.
- Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups, filling each about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
- Let the muffins cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
