  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 2 cups chocolate chips semi-sweet or milk

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat together the softened butter, light brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and whisk until smooth.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt.
  6. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  8. Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked for a chewy texture.

Notes

For richer flavor and better texture, chill the dough for at least 1 hour before baking.
