  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter melted

Method
 

  1. Whisk together all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt in a mixing bowl until evenly combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk milk, egg, and melted butter together until smooth.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently stir until just combined without overmixing.
  4. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat for about 2 minutes until hot.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and cook for 2 minutes or until bubbles appear on the surface.
  6. Flip the pancake gently and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until both sides are golden brown.
  7. Remove pancakes from the skillet and serve warm with your choice of toppings.
