- Gather all ingredients and equipment so they are within reach.
- Finely chop the fresh parsley and oregano.
- Mince the garlic clove until finely minced.
- Add the chopped herbs, minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and red wine vinegar to the food processor.
- Pulse the mixture a few times until everything is finely chopped but still has some texture.
- With the processor running, slowly pour in the olive oil to emulsify the sauce.
- Taste the chimichurri and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Transfer the chimichurri to a glass jar, seal, and let it sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
