- Gather and measure all ingredients before you begin.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter; cook until the butter melts and bubbles.
- Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for 2 to 3 minutes per side until pink.
- Season the shrimp with salt and red pepper flakes.
- Pour in the white wine and lemon juice to deglaze the pan.
- Simmer the mixture for 3 to 4 minutes until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through.
- Stir in the remaining butter, lemon zest, and parsley until the sauce is creamy.
Notes
Serve over linguine or with crusty bread to soak up all of the buttery sauce.
