Method
 

  1. Step 1: Gather all ingredients and ensure they are measured and ready.
  2. Step 2: Add 2 cups white rum, 1 cup heavy cream, 1 cup whole milk, 3/4 cup powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg to a blender.
  3. Step 3: Blend the mixture on high speed for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  4. Step 4: Taste the Rum Chata and add more powdered sugar if a sweeter flavor is desired, then blend for another 10 seconds to incorporate.
  5. Step 5: Transfer the blended mixture to a pitcher and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  6. Step 6: Pour the chilled Rum Chata into individual glasses, serving over ice if desired.
  7. Step 7: Optionally garnish with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg on top.
