Method

  2. Let 1 cup unsalted butter sit at room temperature for about 20 minutes until softened.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar; beat with a hand mixer or whisk for 2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  4. Add 1/2 cup honey to the butter mixture and mix on medium speed for 1 minute until fully incorporated.
  5. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 1/4 teaspoon salt; mix for 30 seconds to combine.
  6. Continue whipping the mixture for another 1 minute until it reaches a smooth, fluffy texture.
  7. Taste the honey butter and adjust sweetness or salt as desired.
  8. Transfer the honey butter to a storage container, seal, and refrigerate for at least 10 minutes before serving.

Let the honey butter sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes before serving to ensure easy spreading. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.
