Ingredients
  

Main
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • 1 can 12 ounces tuna, drained
  • 1 can 10.5 ounces cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs optional for topping

Method
 

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat.
  2. Add egg noodles and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes.
  3. Drain noodles in a colander and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and onion powder until smooth.
  5. Stir in drained tuna, frozen peas, and cooked noodles until evenly coated.
  6. Fold in half of the shredded cheddar cheese gently.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  8. Transfer tuna mixture to the baking dish and spread evenly. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese and breadcrumbs on top.
  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden on top.

Notes

For extra flavor, mix in some sautéed onions or bell peppers to the tuna mixture before baking.
