Ingredients

Main
  • 8 oz brie cheese rind removed
  • 2 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp fresh thyme chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Crackers or bread for serving

Equipment

  • Food processor or mixing bowl and whisk
  • Spatula
  • Serving plate

Method

  1. Allow the brie and cream cheese to sit at room temperature for about 10 minutes to soften.
  2. Slice off and discard the rind from the brie to ensure a smooth whipped texture.
  3. In a food processor, combine the brie, cream cheese, honey, fresh thyme, and black pepper.
  4. Blend the mixture on high for 1-2 minutes until smooth and fluffy, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
  5. Taste the whipped brie and adjust sweetness or seasoning with additional honey or pepper if desired.
  6. Transfer the whipped brie to a serving plate, creating a small mound shape.
  7. Drizzle extra honey over the top and sprinkle with additional thyme for garnish.
  8. Serve immediately with crackers or sliced bread alongside fresh fruit or nuts if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days and let sit at room temperature before serving.
