Ingredients

Main
  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Sharp knife or kitchen shears
  • Mixing bowl
  • Basting brush
  • Oven mitts

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Using kitchen shears or a sharp knife, cut the top shell of each lobster tail down the center.
  3. Gently pry open each shell to expose the meat while keeping it attached at the base.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush the butter mixture over the lobster meat generously.
  6. Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet, shell side down.
  7. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and firm.
  8. Remove from the oven, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Always keep an eye on baking times to prevent the lobster from becoming tough and rubbery.
