- Trim the ends of the green beans to ensure they are bite-sized and cook evenly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Pour buttermilk into a separate bowl for dipping.
- Dip each green bean into the buttermilk, coating thoroughly, then dredge in the flour mixture.
- Heat oil in a large pot or deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- Fry the coated green beans in batches for 3-5 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
