Ingredients
  

Sauce
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon minced ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Method
 

  1. Measure out all ingredients and have them ready to ensure a smooth cooking process.
  2. Combine the soy sauce and oyster sauce in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Stir in the sesame oil and sugar, whisking until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 1 minute.
  4. Add the minced garlic and ginger to the saucepan and mix well.
  5. Sprinkle in the black pepper and stir to incorporate.
  6. Continue to heat the sauce over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
  7. Remove the saucepan from heat and let the sauce cool to room temperature, about 10 minutes.
  8. Transfer the cooled sauce to a storage container and refrigerate for up to one week.

Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
