  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually blend the dry ingredients into the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the Hershey's Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips.
  7. Using a cookie scoop or tablespoon, drop rounded balls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

Pro Tip: For softer cookies, remove them from the oven just before they appear fully done; they will continue cooking from residual heat.
