  • 6 medium ripe pears peeled and sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Peel and slice the pears, discarding the cores.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sliced pears, granulated sugar, lemon juice, and ground cinnamon.
  4. Transfer the pear mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  5. In another bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, rolled oats, and melted unsalted butter until crumbly.
  6. Evenly sprinkle the crumble topping over the pear layer.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
