Ingredients

Main
  • 1 package refrigerated pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Mixing bowl
  • Rolling pin
  • Pizza cutter or sharp knife

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Cut the dough into 3-inch squares using a pizza cutter or sharp knife.
  5. Place about 1 teaspoon of pizza sauce in the center of each square, then top with shredded mozzarella and pepperoni.
  6. Fold each square into a triangle by bringing opposite corners together and pinch the edges to seal.
  7. Brush the tops of the pizza bites with olive oil and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  8. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. For an extra crispy texture, broil for the last 1–2 minutes if desired.

Notes

For best results, don’t overfill the bites and let them cool slightly before serving. Serve with additional dipping sauces if desired.
