  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Rolling pin
  • Mixing bowl
  • Fork

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
  3. Pour 1/4 cup melted unsalted butter and 1/2 cup water into the dry mixture and stir until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a thin sheet, about 1/8 inch thick.
  5. Cut the rolled dough into squares or rectangles.
  6. Place the cut crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them out evenly.
  7. Prick each cracker with a fork to prevent puffing.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Allow the crackers to cool completely on a wire rack to maintain crunchiness.

Notes

Store crackers in an airtight container; they will stay fresh and crispy for several days.
