  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon.
  3. Place the pie crust into a 9-inch pie dish, gently pressing it into the edges.
  4. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs and whole milk until well combined.
  5. Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder to the egg mixture and whisk to incorporate.
  6. Stir in the cooked sausage, shredded cheddar cheese, and chopped green onions (if using).
  7. Carefully pour the filling mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  8. Bake the quiche at 375°F (190°C) for 45 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown.
  9. Remove from oven and let the quiche cool for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
