- Brew two shots of espresso using a coffee maker or espresso machine, about 3 minutes.
- Heat 1 cup of milk in a small saucepan over medium heat until steaming but not boiling, about 3 minutes.
- Froth the heated milk using a milk frother or whisk for 1-2 minutes until foamy.
- Combine the brewed espresso and 1-2 tablespoons of flavored syrup in a mug and stir well.
- Slowly pour the frothed milk over the espresso mixture to create a layered effect.
- Optionally top with sprinkles, cocoa powder, or a drizzle of syrup to garnish.
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 tablespoon baking powder, 1/2 cup cold cubed butter, 1 large egg, and 1/2 cup milk; mix until a soft dough forms.
- Shape the dough into desired forms on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the pastries in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
Notes
Always use fresh ingredients and avoid boiling milk to maintain the best flavor and texture.
