Ingredients
  

Main
  • 1 cup of fresh strawberries
  • 1/4 cup of balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 cup of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Wash and hull the strawberries.
  2. In a blender, combine the strawberries, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and honey. Blend until smooth, about 30 seconds.
  3. Taste the vinaigrette, then add salt and pepper to taste, blending briefly to combine.
  4. If the vinaigrette is too thick, add water or additional olive oil (up to 2 tablespoons) and blend until desired consistency is reached.
  5. Pour the vinaigrette into a clean storage jar and seal with the lid.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
  7. Shake the jar well before serving to recombine ingredients.
  8. Drizzle over salads and enjoy.

Notes

Store in the refrigerator for up to one week. Shake well before each use.
