Method
 

  1. Step 1: Soften the butter by bringing it to room temperature until it is soft and pliable.
  2. Step 2: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, heavy cream, and salt.
  3. Step 3: Using a hand mixer or stand mixer, whip the mixture on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes until light and fluffy.
  4. Step 4: Taste the whipped butter and adjust the salt or add additional flavorings as desired.
  5. Step 5: If using flavorings, gently fold in herbs, honey, garlic, or spices to combine.
  6. Step 6: Transfer the whipped butter into an airtight container using a spatula.
